The VS128H acoustic camera visualizes sound, which is truly a wonderful method. Imagine hearing a sound, but you don’t know exactly where it comes from. If you point the acoustic camera at it, you will see a circle on the screen, telling you where the sound comes from, or the so-called sound source. For example, when you are a product developer and you want to find unwanted noise in your product. By using an acoustic camera, you can identify the cause of this noise emitted by the product and modify its design.

How does it work?
You can compare your ears with the microphone. Sound travels through sound waves to your ears. When it first reaches your right ear and later reaches your left ear, you can locate the source of the sound. You need at least two ears or microphones to locate the sound. An acoustic camera is more accurate than your ear because it has more microphones, typically 64 to 162 microphones, all connected to each other. The software processes all the sounds received by these microphones and visualizes them on the screen of the acoustic camera.

By using digital microphones instead of analog ones, combined with advanced artificial intelligence software smartsound I, you can display accurate sound level detection and visualize specific sound sources directly out of the box.
The VS128N handheld acoustic camera is designed for users who want to obtain all necessary acoustic information in real-time in the laboratory and on-site. Just aim and shoot, and the results will be displayed on your 7-inch touch screen.
VS128N, equipped with 128 optimized MEMS microphones with sunflower patterns. It will provide valuable insights on noise localization and sound level measurement, including spectra and spectrograms.

Smartsound I is our powerful and user-friendly software for processing all acoustic measurements. The software has been built on user experience and feedback for over 3 years. Smartsound I is also constantly upgrading, adding new algorithms, functions, and software modules. The core of smartsound I is a modular software system. Each module has its own graphical interface and tools designed to assist in completing each analysis task. According to the needs of each user, Smartsound I includes appropriate modules to provide the relevant analysis tools they need..
